Show UTAH COPPER BINGHAM AND - GARFIELD HEWAL TABLET A bronze tablet was dedicated Wednesday Wed-nesday morning at the offices of "the Utah Copper company by Dr. Elmer I. Goshen in honor of those employes of , the Salt Lake offices of the Utah Copper Cop-per company and the Bingham & Garfield Gar-field Railway company who served In the recent war. Employes and officials offi-cials from the Salt Lake offices of both companies were present at the dedicatory exercises. The tablet, which will be placed In some conspicuous part of the offices of the company, has engraved upon It the following names: Ernest Blake-more, Blake-more, Ray G. Culverwell, Harrison Gulo,' H. E. Harding, Guy J. Jurgen-sen, Jurgen-sen, Theodore Killeen, Frank P. Murray, Mur-ray, Arthur S. Woods, W. O. Allison, J. Howard Hill, Charles E. Leech and S. F. Nicholls. In front of the name of Guy J. Jorgensen, who died- in the service, a bronze star has been placed. It is the intention of the Utah Copper Cop-per company and Bingham & Garfield Railway company officials to place similar tablets at till of the various -plants and offices of the tw organizations. organi-zations. In this way the devotion of the two companies' 775 employes who served In some branch of the United , States service will be fittingly remembered. |
