Show K SERVICE TO THE FLAG. B Service to the flag in the trials that now confront B, the United States is expected of every man, woman and H child within the borders of our fair land. There is no B room for the idler. Everybody must go "to the front" H Fortunately "the front" lies within every state, within m every country, within every town indeed, within every B household. H V There is no place where the man, woman and child can- H nt find room for patriotic endeavor. Not alone in miji- m tary service, nor in the production of munitions or of food M for the fighters is there room for service, but every man, no matter what his work, may add his mite to the great M cause by the cheerfulness, the exactness, the thoroughness M and the speed with which he works. If each man does m all that he is called upon to do, and a little bit more, he will m take that little bit moro" of the shoulders of another man who may be able tor devqte the exertion thus saved him to accomplishing-a 'little bit more" in his special sphere, and so by the carrying of this "little bit more" along tho line it will ultimately reach the man who may do a "little bit more" directly for the cause. Mutual help, co-operation, intensity of purpose, are factors that will in the end tend toward a swifter and surer victory. H. W. CORNELL, Director - Publicity, Colorado War Council. |
