Show MRsriow IS : . iilDf TO REST: . AT SMITHFIELD fc Smlthfleld, May 22. Funeral services ser-vices wore held on Sunday over the remains of Mrs. Sylvester Low, with Bishop William L. Winn presiding. The choir sang "Thru Deepontng Trials" and Bishop Campbell of Providence offered the prayer. "My Father Knows" was rendered by the male quartette. Elders Wm. Noble, Joseph J. Richardson and Oeorge Done of our city and Goudy Hogan of Lewiston all spoke of the beautiful beauti-ful life, the true wlfo and sainted mother. All spoke of the untiring devotion of Mr. Low during tho long months of suffering and distress. Bishop Winn said he could bear testimony tes-timony to all that had been said nnd thought the Lord had been merciful and kind in releasing Sister Low' from her pain and distress. He said no man was ever more true, more devoted to obligations and covenants imade with his God asd his family than was Brother Low. He said no member of tho family need have regret, re-gret, as all that could be done to comfort and cheor to alloy suffering had been done. She had fought a good fight, kept the faith and litui gone to a well earned reward. Ho thanked all who had assisted during the Illness and death of Sister Low, and was grateful for the beautiful singing, tho wealth of flowers, and the largo congregation, which alono told all that .need be said on this occasion. Richard Pllkington rendered ren-dered "Oh My Father" in a most touching manner. Miss Maggie Merrill Mer-rill of Preston sang, very impressively. impress-ively. "Sweet Spirit ohPrayer,'' and Leonard Roskelley sang "A.Dream." The services closed by the choir singing "Sister Thou Wert Mild And Lovely." Benediction was offered by Bishop Smith. The tabernacle was tilled to Its capacity, and had It not been for the Incessant downpour of rain all day, tho building would not have held the throng, as hundreds In the valley telephoned their wordi of sympathy and regretr that they could not attend the services. Lillian Edith Low was the daughter daugh-ter of Charles Jones and Mary Ann Weeks. She was born at Spanish Fork, Utah, on March 3, 1963. She was married to Sylvester Low' on October 8, 1882, Eleven children have been born to this couple, three girls and eight boys, five of whom preceded the mother. In the loss of such a warm-hearted, whole-souled, sympathetic, true wife and mother, that she was, brings deep sorrow to the family. May tlmo and a calmer reflection bring comfort com-fort and consolation to them. All the members of tho family were In attendance at the services. Among the out-of-town relatives and friends attending the Low funeral, we noticed the following: Robert Jones and family of Dayton, Idaho; Mary Bradford and family of Spanish Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Arnason of Salt Lake City, Mabel Bradford of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. George Wilcox of McCam-mon, McCam-mon, Idaho; Rhoda Wilkinson of Franklin, L. L. Launsberry, R. M. Simpson of Logan, Juno Jensen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jo3eph Thomas and Mrs. Nelllo Thomas Johnson of Preston.
