Show WEEKLY LETTER , FROM CACHE JUNCTION Cache Junction, March 25. Hello, Everybody. My, but tho times are looking fine once more, now tho country has beon relieved of tho uncertain un-certain condition that tho big railroad rail-road strike placed overybody In, and talso that tho little lit-tle ogvernor has completod h 1 s list of appointments appoint-ments to the offices of-fices of the state government as a reward to the good, faithful workers among the Democrats of tho s t a t o. Of course, us Cache County boys are in ucli pleased v over the appolnt- 6& ment of Mr. Wllllo Thatcher, and wo v Ottcgary's should all make Friend. a special effort to thank the governor (or somebody) for not having forgotten Cache county coun-ty entirely. Wo also have another thing to bo thankful for, and that Is the appolntmont of a resident of Cache county as our deputy game warden. Humor had It that thoy were-going to send us a man to fill this office. Now that Mr. Seeholzer has been appointed, let us all do our utmost to help him In his duties as deputy warden, to uphold the game laws and punlah anyone who breaks them, Mr. Seeholzer Is the one man fitted for tho Job, as he Is an enthusiastic en-thusiastic sportsman, a good fisherman fisher-man and hunter, and knows the can-JyonB can-JyonB of Cache county like a book, and also knows tho true sportsman and the outlaw sportsman. And let us hope he will keep his oyes on the latter, and show neither fear nor favor to thorn. I heard a rumor, on tho Logan stroets, that a deer was brought down out of ono of the canyons, and portioned off to some of tho faithful-only faithful-only last week. In Benson and Pet-ersboro, Pet-ersboro, they havo been killing ducks during tho last week, and other portions por-tions of the county are reporting the killing of chickens. Now, let us all unite and give Mr. Seeholder our best efforts, and wo, tho sportsmen, will expect the aumo In return from him. I saw a short pleco In some paper, whore the Domocratlc county committee commit-tee held n mooting, to try and agreo on some ouo for somo offlco, but failed, and wore In session only three minutes. I do wonder it tho reason the session only lasted that long wa3 thoy were afraid the governor would find It out -and bo displeased that they were seeking ono nioro offlco. Hut never mind boys, we can work jU3t as hard again two years from now. A FRIEND OP WILLIE OTTEGARY'S. |
