Under tho laws of Ohio, a boy, 17 or younger comes under tho Jurisdiction Juris-diction of the Juvonllo court, whereas where-as ono 18 or ovor would bo tried, on n criminal chargo, in tho criminal court. Tho paronts of tho boy claimed that ho was 17, while tho physicians wore strongly of tho opin ion that ho was 18 or older. It Is a fact, well recognized by tho medical profession, that In tho transition from childhood to maturity theso bones undergo n chnnpo that Is qulto distinct. Tho Thotographs ln this enso showed such n development of bony tlssuo as to provo conclusively that tho boy was 18 years old or over and consqucntly l)ls caso was turned over to tho criminal court. |
