Show Knowles t - - j -. Family Reunion Last Tuesday tho Knowles family held a reunion at the home ot William T. Knowles to celebrate tho 86th birthday of father William Knowles.' Father Knowles took a very active part in Sunday School work in tho early days and was a leader in music. mu-sic. Ho Is well known among the early settlers ot Cacho valley for he travelled from town to (own with Fred Hurst and Dr. O. C. Ormsby teaching Sunday School songs and organizing the different Sunday Schools Into a Sunday School Union which hold meetings In Logan every year. Father Knowles has eight children, C3 grandchildren, and 34 grcntgrand children living. The family has scattered scat-tered considerably, some of them living liv-ing in Idaho and Oregon, so tho attendance at-tendance thl3 year was not ns largo as it has been at former reunions, but all who were present had a good tlmo. Mrs. William Affleck of Salt Lako who is a sister to the wlfo ot Father Knowles, was at tho gathering and Mrs. Edith Wharton, tho youngest daughter of father Knowles, was down from her homo In Moulda, Montana.
