A report from the Sunday Tribune indicates that the cereal plant for Utah has been definitely determined upon and that all that now remains 1s the selection of a suitable location, for tho plant and the project will be put under ay. Sucha manufacturing manufactur-ing institution as Is proposed should ertalnly bo a great boost for any community and as Logan has a chance to get the plant, It would seem that the Commercial club should get active ac-tive and see what can bo done to set It. Already Frovo Is making a tig bid for tho plant by offering special spe-cial Inducements. Rapid Work The proposition to organize the company, and to produce from Utah grain foods for which a half million dollars is sent out of the state each yoar was suggested several weeks ago by J. A. Hendrlckson and Washington Wash-ington Aldrldge of Salt Lake. The -two beginners of tho plan Interested ' many Utahns and at last saw their way clear to organize the corporation. Those interested wero brought together to-gether yesterday and the rapid organization or-ganization was perfected as a result of work on behalf of tho Manufacturers' Manufac-turers' Association of Utah by D. P. Collott, secretary. L. V. Thistle of this city, mill ox-pert ox-pert nnd veteran cereal manufacturer, manufactur-er, addressed tho organization mooting moot-ing and gave ndvlco and suggested the best way of going forward with tho movement. Ho suggested sug-gested and tho meeting agreed, that tho proposed plnnt shall have a dally capacity of not less than 100 barrels. Looking For a Location A committee composed of D. F. Collett, chairman; J. W. .Knight, J. S. Carver and J. A. Hendrlckson was appointed to select a site for tho Plant, It possible, land with a suit- able factory building on It will be secured. However, it such a site can not be obtained the corporation will erect buildings. The location com. mlttee, will begin work Wednesday. It Is hoped to have the business under un-der wny by early summer. There are about forty stockholders and as no moro stock Is being sold this number will probably comprise the permanent list of stockholders. The capital stock is divided Into 1000 shares of $100 each. Beside tho officers of-ficers elected the following compose the board of directors: , George T. Odell, James H. Moyle, George S.
