Show MOLDING. CLAY INTO RELIEF MAP State Reiources Will Be Advertised by Meant of Large Map at the World' Fair Next Year Ten tons of clay are being molded Into a map ot the state of Utah ft the Utah Agricultural College. Tho work on tho Immense relief map was commenced bnck ln Juno nnd Is near-Ing near-Ing completion. Tho finished artlclo will bo displayed at tho San Francisco Francis-co exhibition and Is ono of tho largest larg-est ever made. A cast of tho map will be displayed at tho San Dlcaro exhibition and ono .will bo kept nt the college Tho map la being mado under tho supervision of Prof. William Peter-Bon, Peter-Bon, but L. H. Evans, D. W. Smith and Bryant Bullen, aro doing tho actual ac-tual work.. The map, when completed, complet-ed, will bo twenty by sixteen feet In Blze. The high peaks of tho Uinta mountains stand almost a foot and a halt high. Tho scale, horizontally Is a mile and a halt to the Inch, while the vertical acalo Is exaggerated ten times ln order to make tho mountains moun-tains stand out prominent. A negative cast of the huge map( will be taken In planter ,ot Paris and from the negative as many final ci'ats can ho taken as wished. Tho ono cast to bo sent to tho San Francisco oxhlbltlon will play an lmportnnt factor fac-tor ln Utah's display at the world's fair noxt year, as will nlso tho one to be sent to tho San Diego fair. There Is also n sni'V'Ier map bolng mado by tho Agricultural College which will bo convenient for school work. Theso maps are technical In dotall and will bo tho most comploto relief map of tho stato that has evor boon made.
