She wns nt onco transferred to a hospital, hospit-al, but Jus how bad her Injuries wero could not at onco be determined It wns found, however, that ono leg was broken. Another sad event happened last week to ono of our old time cltlzenB, ,Mrs. James Allen of Franklin. For somo unknown cause she consumed a dose of carbolic acid, with the sad result that death followed. The doctor doc-tor was at tho scene as quickly as possible but she was then beyond medical aid. She leaves four children, chil-dren, three daughters and one son tho youngest, a girl eleven years. She also leaves an aged father to mourn her loss.
