Brown, resident of Logan Lo-gan for tho past few years, but bet-J ter known as a resident of Wollsvlllo died yesterday morning at Ogden of Influenza, Mr. Drown, In company with Professor J. E. Hickman was ln(Ogdenon business when ho contracted con-tracted the dreaded dlscaso, and was . moved to, the hospital. All that was possible t do for tho patient was done but to no apparent purpose. Mr. Brown married Nellie Daxter daughter of Robert Baxter of Hyrutu and from this union six children were born. Nellie Baxter Brown died six years ago. Three years later he married Miss Effle Hawks. Two fhlldren have blessed this union, and they with the widow mourn the loss of their good father. Joseph B. Brown was mayor of Wellsvlllo Just before selling his property there and going Into tho Blue Creek ceuntry to farm larger and more extonslvo holdings. Ho later purchased a homo In Logan, and kept his family here and opor-t ntcd the farm at Blue Creek. Ho was a progressive and highly respected respect-ed citizen, and goes to his reward after having lived a useful and successful suc-cessful life. |
