The Boosters Club are going to purchase a pennant and for every man doing service In the U. S. a star will be placed on the pennant for them, stars will be added' as each man enlists or Is drafted. It will be given a conspicuous place In the Opera House. Mrs, Carrie Coley spent Thursday In Logan. Miss Idella Van Orden was taken to the Utah Idaho Hospital Saturday where she submitted to an operation for appendicitis. She is doing nicely. nice-ly. Geo. Villett was at Logan on bus- inesa Saturday. Supt. And Mrs. Wm. Baer and Mrs. David Affleck were Lewlston visitors Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Asa Thompson spent Thursday at Richmond. Mr. Alma Bowden Is very 111 with Bronchitis. Mr. Flinch the maBter mechanic of the West Cache Sugar factory received receiv-ed a very sever electric shock. The shock was so violent that ho was thrown to the ground breaking two ribs. Mrs. Victor Henrdlcks spent Thursday Thurs-day at Logan. A great many Lewlston people attended at-tended Stake conference at Richmond Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Clement Rawlins, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Karren, Mrs. Ef-fie Ef-fie Villett and Mrs. Maud Stocks at tended the Basket Ball game at Richmond Rich-mond Saturday night. Mrs. Millie Van Orden was called to Richmond Saturday on a ccount of a very nick brother. Mrs. Stowell Is visiting at Pocatel-lo Pocatel-lo with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Stowell. The Infant ot Mr. and Mrs. Maria J. Swlnyard is improving after a severe attack of pneumonia. The Athletic club expect to give u good game Tuesday evening. Dr. and Mrs. W. B. Parkinson spent Saturday evening at I'rcston. The funeral of Mrs. Phyllis Laknr was held at the 1st ward tabernacle Wednesday. Mr. Oeddes of Preston and F. M. Stephensen wore tho speakers, a solo was rendered by Mr. Klrkham of Lchl. Duet Mlis Peterson Peter-son and Mr. Walder of Preston. Horace Culter read a poem which wa composed by the husband.
