Margaret Rlgby Hoskelley was born February 12, 1864 at ,. Wells-vllle, Wells-vllle, Utah. She was the daughter of William F. Rlgby and Mary Clark Rlgby, and wife of the late Patriarch Patri-arch Samuel Roskelley. She was baptised and confirmed a member of the church in 1874. Her schooling was commenced at Cjarkston, Cache County and continued in other schoolaetthe countyVVJiKuyeuthful days ' were spent at Newton assisting her parents until she was old enough to work elsewhere. She was of a cheerful disposition, which won her many friends and associates, all ot whom loved her and looked up , to her as a leador. On May 11, 1882 she was married mar-ried to Samuel Roskelley at the Salt Lako Endowment House, by Wllford Woodruff, On April 1883 she left to fill a mission to the St. George Temple, from which she returned a year later. In April 1884 she was called to help fit up the Logan Temple Tem-ple for ordinance work and was then set apart as a worker of the Temple. In 1887 she moved back to Smith-field Smith-field and was called to preside over the Y. L. M. I. which position she held for thirteen years. When Benson Ben-son Stake was organized she was called as second counselor to the stake president of the Y. L. M. I. A. She was the first president of the Primary Association ot the Second ward here and served for tbreo years in this capacity. In 1911 she was again chosen as president ot the Y. L. M. I. A. which position she held for four years. At the tlmo ot her death she, was a teacher in tho Genealogical work of the Relief Society. Mrs. Roskelley was tho manager of a prosperous millinery shop for thirty years. Two children survlvo Mrs. Roskelley: Mrs. Emma Hanson, of this city, and Charles Orn Roskelley of the Brlgbam City High School faculty. fac-ulty. Mrs. Roskelley had been very ill for several months, so her death was not so unexpected, nevertheless all keenly feel the loos of such a noble woman. The funeral service was ono ot the largest held in our city and attended by relatives and friends ot Logan, Newton, Richmond and Lew-lston. Lew-lston.
