It Is a well known fact thnt In tho cultivated potato thoro Is n strong tendency to degenorato or deteriorate where tho crop Is planted without an ntlompt to select only the best lor seed. Hut this tendency can bo overcome over-come under ordinarily favorable conditions, con-ditions, by tho planting of only good seed and by proper handling of tho crop. |
