Show PIONEER OF 1848 BURIED AT MILLVILLE Isaac Scott, Early Settler of This Valley and Prosperous Farmer Passes Away i Isaac Scott, 79 ears of ago, 1848 pioneer of Utah and pioneer of Mill-villo, Mill-villo, having resided In that town for 45 years, wns burled on Sunday, n fitting trlbuto being paid to his memory at tho ward chapel by his many friends. Tho speakers nt tho services wero H. S. Hulsc, James A. Hovoy, John King, H. C. Hcnlngor, and F. T. Yoates. John M. Wilson of Logan, sang a solo. Isaac" Scott was a native ot Canada having boon born February 10, 1837. Ho was one of tho early converts to Jho Mormon faith nnd Journeyed to this stato with thoso sturdy pioneers who mado this commonwealth what it Is today, Mr. Scott is survived by u wife, a daughter Mrs. Job Smlih of Mlllvlllo; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. |
