The state auditor, by reason of his office, Is secretary and tho stato treasurer is ex officio treasurer, under un-der tho law. It was estimated at the meeting yesterday that tho association will Vcgln Its exlstenco with an Initial membership of about 2500 tenchera. All public school teachers In tho state aro eligible for membership, Bave thoso of Salt Lako City, who have a retirement association of their own.
