Show Company Reorganized. Utah Marble Co. Proposes to Push Development of Property. The Utah Marble Co. Is now In such shape that It can and will begin within with-in a few days the development of its holdings In Logan canyon. During the past few months, since the original origin-al Incorporation, there havo been Jiltches sulllclcnt to delay development develop-ment work but by a rc-organlzation cltected Tuesday night these arc done away with and the proposition will be pushed. The olllcers as the company now stands aro as follows: President Joseph E. Cardon. Vice President John Montrose. Secretary X. R. Moore. Treasurer II. E. Hatch. Directors J. E. Cardon, John Mont rose, N. It. Moore, W. S. Lamrcaux, L. S. Cardon, K. W. Thatcher. M. J. llallard. Theso with seventeen others comprise com-prise tho present stockholders. ' It Is tho intention to put In sulllclcnt sulll-clcnt machinery to open a quarry as soon as possible that niarblo may be placed on tho market. The company owns 12(10 acres In tho canyon on which ten varieties of marble from white to black are found. Prof. Peterson, geologist, makes a flattering report as to quality and quantity and the Indications Indica-tions as to tho lay of tho veins beneath the surface. The company hopes that aggressiveness and good management manage-ment will eventually open a paying quarry. |
