Show Weston, Idaho Last Priday evening wc had a lino icceptlon party for Elder Joseph Georgcson and wife, they having Just leturned fiom the Eastern States mission. A good program was rendered ren-dered and a good time was enjoyed by all piesent. Next Priday evening wc will hac a faiewell party forourbeloved bi other, Yeppa Ilcnson, who will leave for the Northern States Mission on the Oth of January. Elder Henson has been tho choir leader hete for many years and will bo missed very much. He is also in the Sunday schoolsupcilntcndeney, and Is one of the presidents of the 142 quotum of seventies. We very much rcgict his departure but wc know ho will bo a good repiesentativo of our faith. Mis. Wc have much sickness lu our midst, Tho eldest daughter of Pied Coburn is very low, also a little ghl of Fnnk Gills'. Mis. II. O. Kose is also very low, and ex-SlieillT Maughan's oldest daughter is very sick. Dr. A. A. Canliold and wife, of Ma-lad, Ma-lad, have been in our town for tho past two months. The doctor is noted for and Is, aside from Dr. Davis, without with-out doubt tho the best dentist in tho West. Wc have known him for many ycais. At last It appear that our canal from Mink Cieek is a sure go. The people will take up the bonds themselves them-selves and woik them out, thus diavvlng Interest on their own investment invest-ment in place of paying thousands of dollais to Eastern capitalists. The woik will begin the Hist of the jear. In threo or four yeais, the valley west of Hear Hlvor will bo the loveliest placo in this beautllul valley. Now Is tho time, to buy land here.
