Show BOTH FAN AND MASK. Clever Device Which l Productive of Much Amusement. Anyone would suppose that the object ob-ject shown la the accompanying pic- ; . " j- t '. ' turo is an ordinary fan, yet, while it will do servlco as a fan, it Is principally princi-pally intended to bo used as n mask. It is fashioned so as to rosomblo the faco of an animal, but a portion of tho edge Is, cut away in such a manner that somo feature of tho faco is lacking, and in place ot this missing miss-ing portion of tho animal the person using tho fan is supposed to substitute substi-tute tho equivalent feature ot his own face. Tho fan is furnished with a handle, and may bo raadp of nny material on which an animal's face can bo drawn or painted. This dovico Is likely to afford much amusement, for there Is naturally something laughnblo about a faco which Is only partly human, and tho moro savago and ugly tho animal's faco Is tho more giotosquo will it appear when ono of its fenturcs is roplacod by an equivalent featuro from a human countenanco.
