Hyde ar6 practicing on tho opera Mikado. Dr. Ricks has sold his drug business to a local company that will erect a nice building for it next spring. Quite a number of people are taking an interest In the Twin Falls proposition pro-position down on tlili Snake River. The weather is clear and cold. No wind, but tho thermometer registered register-ed 30 degrees below zero this morning. Sleighing is good. Soren Peterson who had Just returned re-turned from Teton Basin, says that the people thero can ride over the fences now the snow Is so deep. A. J. Curtis our energetic tinsmith leaves Sunday for Logan. He will return re-turn with his family who will now make Rexburg their home. Mr. Curtis has purchased a business lot and will build In the spring. James Webster and Nathan Ricks have Just returned from a visit to The Grand Round Valley In Oregon, and Boise city. They say everything looks well In The Grand Round Valley but that land out there Is quite high. Mr. Lorenzo Thomas, nephew of John Thomas of Logan, has just completed a line rock business block. It has cost him between ten and twelve thousand dollars. It consists of two lino storo-rooms, a basement and on the second floor olllce rooms. Drs. Rich, Woodburn and Joseph Charles have their offices in the building build-ing and are llxcd up in lino modern style. Hyrum Ricks Is also located there. |
