Show Fany Thatcher Jeppeson Dead, Tho above headline will undoubtedly undoubt-edly cause consternation and surprise amongst many of his friends and associates as-sociates who wcro not acquainted with his brief Illness. He was taken hick with a cold about ten days ago, which was not considered serious, but It culminated In typhoid pneumonia of which he died about ten a.m. Monday. Mon-day. "Ferry" Jeppeson, as he was familiarly famil-iarly called by his companions, was born in Logan, Feb. 4, 1883, Just having hav-ing passed his twentieth birthday. He was the son of Scvcrine and Emma Jeppeson, the latter being the daughter of Hon. Moses Thatcher. It Is needless need-less to state that his parents, relatives and friends arc stricken with grief. No young man was better known In Logan than he. He wasalwaysa manly boy for his age, good, kind and affable in his disposition, patient to the end, bearing up under his pain and agony to the last, obedient to his parents In yielding to every wish of theirs, with a confidence that It was for his best good. One of the noble characteristics charact-eristics of tliis good boy was hlsdcllcr-ence hlsdcllcr-ence to those older than he, apparently apparent-ly born and bred In him. Words, we know, are comparatively futile In soothing the wounded hearts; a vacancy va-cancy will bo found at the lire side anil home. The parents have tho unbounded unbound-ed heartfelt sympathy of all, especial-from especial-from those who arc conversant with the sickness they have fought against In the past two years, Four of their number were stricken with smallpox, subsequently two were attacked with bronchitis. Wc trust that Ho who can heal our wounded hearts will have kind mercy upon this household In supporting them under this trying ordeal and spare to tho parents tho remainder re-mainder of their dear family. Good bye Ferry for a short time. |
