It will Iw remembered that Mr. Lamoieaux contemplated a stage career at one time, and after singing in the Salt Lake theatre for tho manager man-ager of a company then playing there, ho was engaged and sent to New York where for scveial months ho alternated alternat-ed with one of the greatest bassos on the Amorican stage at that time. De-Wolf De-Wolf Hopper was at that time one of tho notables and has added many lauiels tolils crown since then. Mr. Lamorcaux, after several .month's study with tlrst-class teachers, and after having done a great deal of most satisfactory work with this company, decided to "cut" the stage business, and has never since returned to it, although al-though ho lias been urged many times.
