CGarff was seen at Salt Lake Wednesday and in conversation relating relat-ing to the lighting proposition he has offered Salt Lake, said that he believes it will be accepted. The only objection objec-tion thathas been raised by anyone to his proposition to light the city at the present rate for ten years and then give the city the $200,000 system and plant to be erected, Is that the plant-and plant-and system would be worn out In ten years. Mr. Garll has clinched this by offering to give the city $100,000 for the plant at the end of ten years If they will accept this proposition now. The Gain's have recently made additional addi-tional tilings for water power, and are not overly anxious thatSaltLakeshall take them up on the lighting proposition, proposi-tion, as they claim to have other use for their power. From all appearances this seems to bo u straight business proposition all 'round in which Salt Lake Is likely to prollt.and the GarlT's undoubtedly are looking after their side of it. p, M"MBBTcSSSB mm WALL PAPER SALE I IS NOW ON, at our new Wall Paper store.
