To meet this problem the Keistcr Ladles' Tailoring College was first instituted In ht. Louis. It was opened in oire small 100m and today to-day It occupies air Immense building and has many competent teachers cmplo)ed. As bread Is to our tables, so the tailored govvrr Is to a lady's wardrobe. That has been made the basis of this school. Strictly tailor methods arc cmplo)cd In drafting and cutting. The square and tape line are tire only articles used. This sjs-tern sjs-tern Is the lesult of ) cars of study and Is capable of producing accurately anv thing shown in our pattern books oftoda). Under the management of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Wilson a branch school, teaching this sjstcm, has been organised In Logan at the Preston block. This college is thor-oughly thor-oughly equipped to teach ladles tailoring tailor-ing and dress making In all Its branches. The rooms occupied are light and cool and litted with individual individ-ual tables, where designing, drafting, cutting, basting and pressing may bo done. Several sewing machines are rrow In use, Including tho Wheeler & Wilson now so popular. The pupils arc taught In a practical wa). Tney bring their own material and aro taught on that to make a tailor gown. When tho com so Is finished they irot only have the tailor gown, but the knowledge that enables them to mako another correctly. Madam Sangster of Denver, a lady of long experience, ex-perience, has been cmplojtd to assist In this departmeirt. Mrs. Wilson Is a graduate of tho College In Denver and Is known as an expert In cutting and llttlng. To be able to make her own clothes Is an accomplishment any woman may bo proud to possess. The college will bo open and Instruction given In each department tho cntlio year. The opening will occur some time In July and will bo duly announced. |
