Show Baseball at Hyde Park Hyde Park, June 3, 1912. On Friday, May 31st tho Richmond and Hyde Park base ball teams crossed cross-ed bats upon the Hyde Paik diamond, and ono of the finest games we have witnessed for a long tlmo was placed. These teams met In Richmond same time ago nnd the Richmond boys were tho victors, tho score being Richmond 7; Hydo Park 6. The Hyde Park boys were determined to win If possible upon up-on their own grounds and Friday the score was far different. The Hydo Parkers winning by a score of 6 to 1, with one Inning to spare. The sensational sen-sational features were four doubles, nnd a home run by our boys. Tho homo lun being made by our heavy batsman 11. E. Hancey, Jr. who like Mr. Joseph Nelson, (tho one time star plajer of the Smlthfleld team, and batter the best on tho Richmond team) has considerable ball play In him yet. Mr. Nelson was tho only one to score for his team. The batters for Hyde Park weie Parley Balls nnd George Hancey. For Richmond, Drysdalo nnd Jonas; each leculvlng good support.
