Y C, team leached ChlcaRO o. k. but did not play the University ot Chicago as icporUd, nor will the team play In the bg athletic tournament tourna-ment owing to the fact that Utah Is out ot the Central A. A. U. district. A special to the Herald &ays: CHICAGO, March 18. The basket-ball basket-ball team ot Brlgham Young college, which recently won the Utah state school championship, will play the first of Its .local games Friday night, meeting tho De Pauw university rlvo at 8 o'clock at the lattcr's gymnasium. On Saturday the Utah team will meet Northwestern college at Naper-vllle Naper-vllle In the afternoon. On Wednesday of next week the visitors will play Evanstun Y. M. O. A. atEvanston and tho following night will oppose central Y. M. O. A. at the La Salle street gymnasium. Coach Arthur Uadeuoch, the former Maroon football foot-ball star, expects hla men to make a strong showing against the local lives. The tourists will return by way of Minneapolis and Denver, playing games in those cities. |
