Show Daughters Organize The genealogical society of the (tiiihtcrsof the Utah Pioneers of the Cache s'.akc Is perfecting local organism organ-ism n throughout the stake where tl'LMc cm bo found a community .In which there arc at least twenty-five pioneer daughters. Two local organizations organi-zations have been perfected this week. Some thirty persons met at tho reside) resi-de) ce of President Isaac Sm,lth on Monday together with the stake general gen-eral oflloers and organized the first company, to be known as the Joseph Smith company. The ofllcers as elected elect-ed arc: President, Susette Cardon Ricks; llrst vice president, ClaraCran-del ClaraCran-del Carlisle; second vlco president, Chloo Ralney Harrison; secretary, Sarah Sa-rah Bullock Jensen; treasurer, Sarah Owen Maughan. Wednesday afternoon the general ottlcers met at the home of Sarah Farr where was perfected the second ward organization, to bo known as the Ballard Bal-lard company. The ofllcers as elected arc: President, Kate Brown Watklns; first vice president, Katherlne Alvena Hatch Smart; second vlco president, Miss Minnie Cole; secretary, Miss Lovern Worley; treasurer, Jane Baugh Hatch. The object of tho local organization will be the same as that of the general organization; to perpetuate the names and the achievements of the men and women who were the pioneers in founding this commonwealth. They will take up genealogical work and promote sociability. At both of the meetings held this week simple but delicious refreshments were served. |
