Show Died at Wellsvllle WELLSVILLE, October 21,-On October 17, Royal, the twenty-eight-month-old sou of Mr., and Mrs. Wm, C. Rrenchly. died from a severe attack of appendlclts, from which he suffered less than a week. His death cast gloom and sadness over the entire community, and a feeling of deep sympathy was expressed for the mother mo-ther and other relatives at home. This occasion Is made doubly sad by the absence of the father who for the past 23 months has labored as a missionary mis-sionary In England. Funeral services wete held on Monday at the tabernacle taberna-cle where a host of sympathizing friends were present. Consoling remarks re-marks wero made'by President Wm. II, Maughan, Dr, P. R. Met rill, David Murray, Richard Rrenchley, O. R. Hal-ley, Hal-ley, J, U. Hrpnchley, Wm Murray and Wm. II. Darley. The Moral offerings were many and beautiful, It seems that the people of Wellsvllle Wells-vllle are often called to mourn the death of a relative or friend, as this makes seven In less than two months. On Sunday Mrs. P. M. Maughan entertained en-tertained in honor of the fiftieth birthday birth-day of her husband. Tables were laden with all the dainties that one could wish and supper was served to about fifty. The evening proved to be an enjoyable one and one to be long remembered. re-membered. Mr. Maughan was presented pre-sented with a handsome bookcase and a leather rocking chair. Recently Increases in the following families have been made, a boy to Mr, and Mrs. C. E. Gunnell, and girls to Mr. and Mrs. h. P, Murray and Mr. and Mrs Frank Maughan.
