The meeting was held a week or two ago at the oillce of 'eph Thomas, Eagle Block, tvvonty-threo members being present. The term of oillce of tho old olllcers having expired, they wero honorably released with a vote of thanks. The following olllcers wero elected unanimously: unanim-ously: For president, Zeph Thomas; vice-president, vice-president, D, It Roberts; secretary, Jos. W. Eames; asst. secretary, Wra M. Howell; treasurer, Gwcn Thomas An Advisory Board was appointed as follows: Dr. George Thomas, John Matthews, Evan Owen, I). It. Roberts, .eph Thomas, Ilopkln J. Matthews, Alexander Lewis. After the transaction of business busi-ness was over, as usual a general good time was had by the boys, and those who could not talk Welsh were wishing wish-ing thev could and resolved that they would learn the Welsh language so they could sing "Ar hyd a noi." |
