At a previous meet- B ing the board had rejected a petition H J of said company for a franchise to H operate their lines through the town. Accordingly Mr. Hogan met with the council and explained matters satis- H factorily and the franchise was grant- HHH li ed., On motion of II. S. Hulse each of H I the council secured a free ride over H the wires to Salt Lake. Tho company 1 expects to begin work In about two H weeks.
