Show One On Dr. Frederick Monday's Tribune says: "Dr. II. .1. Frederick, of the Agricultural College has been badly treated by a lowbred Summit cqunty cow. There is not the slightest question that the bovine In question has been guilty of rude and unprofessional conduct 'In her dealing with Dr. Frederick, who feels the force of the slight. Recently Dr, Frederick, who Is an expert upon diseases or at.imals, was Informed that a certain cow, near Coalville, was suf rprlng with a dlseaso supposed to bo tuberculosis. Tho physical! Immediately Immedi-ately grabbed a case or Instruments and set sail for the locality In which the cow lived and had her being, When the genial doctor arrived upon the ground, however, he learned to his chagrin that the cow had wandered wan-dered awav and died in some secluded spot, or had premcdltatcdly and with malice aforethought, hidden herself so securely that she could not be found. As the one cow which tho doctor desired to examine could not be located the physician made such other Investigation as he could, and has reached the conclusion that the disease Is not tuberculosis. This, of coursehelps some." |
