Show Death at Newton. Nkwton, April 'J, looti. James Junius Hansen, son of James F. Hansen, Han-sen, died last Tuesday, March 127, of quick pneumonia, ho having been sick about four days. The funeral was held last Satuulay at 1 o'clock p. m., the meeting house being packed with friends. The speakers detailed many good qualities In tho young man. Those who spoke were: Patrlaich W. II. Grlffln, Rasmus Nielsen, of Logan; Kphralm Schnlcder, John Larson, II. J. Christiansen, of Salt Lake city, and llishop M. C. Rlgby. The young man was '-'I years of age, had led an exemplary life, was always willing to take his part when asked to do anything hi ward capacity, and while he will be a loss here, lie will be a gain elsewhere. A quartette entitled "Sometime We'll Understand," by Miss Nettle Grillln, Mrs. Kllabeth Funk, Amos, R. R , Amos Jr. and George Clarke, was very affecting. Mr. Godfrled Hansen, who has been down with pneumonia for a long time, is now greatly improving and will soon be able to be around again. Klder II. J. Christiansen, formerly of Logan, now of Salt Lake city, delivered de-livered an excellent address in a Scandinavian meeting hero last Friday Fri-day evening, which was well attended. Mr. Acton Jensen lately arrived from Copenhagen, Denmark, related somo valuable experiences of his brief standing In the Mormon church. A quartette entitled "Ilvormed er Lam-mcts Lam-mcts Rrud Vol llg," by Mrs. Elizabeth Funk, Mls Amanda Larscn, II. J. Christiansen and Niels Jacobson, was appreciated. |
