Show ONE DANCE AND ANOTHER COMING Hyde Park Getting Hilarious Hila-rious Along some lines Town may Freeze up if Coal Doesn't Come. NydiiPakk, Dec. Ill Last Friday night there was a grand ball given in the hall. Tho music was furnished by an orchestra composed of tho following follow-ing musicians; Mr. Smith, of the II. Y. 0., of Logan, Mr. Harvey Johnson, Mr. llaker, of Mendon, Alma Harris, Paulino Harris and Mrs. Eugcnlo Lundqulst, of Ilydo Park. The music was good and lively and so were the dancers. In a former Issue you mako mention of a Hyde Park farmer driving to his Held In bobs and unhitching therefrom there-from and onto a plow and turning over mother earth and snow. Well, last week ono Hyde Park farmer could bo seen most all week plowing, while teams wero passing with sleigh bells Jingling and tho fog so thick that ono could scarce seo a quarter of a mile, lie plowed during the week about thirteen acres. A good timo Is expected hero on tho evening of Deo. 2Jrd when the Primary Pri-mary Association will give an entertainment, enter-tainment, it being tho one hundredth anniversary of tho Prophet Joseph Smith's birthday. Our Primary Association As-sociation generally docs things up about right, and no pains is being spared in trying to make this entertainment enter-tainment ono of the best yet given. I am afraid, Mr. Editor, that unless wo get warmer weather or a fow cars of coal we will soon bo frozen up so tight that wo will not thaw out again. We would like for some one to help us out if they can. The chicken pox Is breaking out again and there arc now somo twelve flags adorning tho residences of various vari-ous Individuals of our little town. |
