There have been many absent recently, re-cently, due largely to what is now diemed almost an epidemic of quinsy, tonsilltls, and sore throat. Tho par- ents aro warned to take excellent care of the children, as the quinsy and tonsilltls ton-silltls arc very severe and quite dan gcrous. Last Friday afternoon Dr. Parkinson Parkin-son talked before the city teachers In regard to school hygiene and particularly particul-arly as to what is advisable when the- . children with soro throats come to school. The Dr. spent somo little time and offered splendid suggestions, all of which was highly appreciated. There Is somo talk among members of the school board as to tho advisability advis-ability of bonding for tho erection of a large school building. The statement is made that sufficient of tho right kind of accommodation is not now available.
