The league of nations has sent a telegram to Colonel Chardigny at Kovno, who Is In charge of the league of nations commission there, asking him to report fully on the Vilna situation and as to what treatment the members of the commission have been given, and assuring him of the support of the league. The Poles unofficially have been Informed In-formed that the league considered the Vllna situation extremely grave and a violation of former Premier Pad-erewski'g Pad-erewski'g statement at the Paris meeting meet-ing of the league council that the integrity in-tegrity of .Lithuania would Be respected. re-spected.
