Music and games were the order of the evening. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Edward' Byrnes, Mr. and Mrs. George Starkey, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Starkey, Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Hiedepriem, Miss Cook, Miss Blair, - Mrs. James Parks and W. D. Armstrong. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kemp are visit-ing in Park City for several weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Marriott, Mrs. Mar-shall Pease and Lamaure Marriot spent Thursday and Friday of last week in Park City. Dr. and Mrs. J. P. Flynn were In Salt Lake Friday of last week. Mrs. Earl Peterson - has gone to Riverton to visit with her mother for several months. Mrs. Leonard Ford was pleasantly surprised Friday afternoon of last week by a few of her friends, the oc-casion being her birthday anniver-sary. After a delicious luncheon five hundred was played. The guest list included Mrs. George Ralls, Mrs. A. T. Kent, Mrs. Mike Pearse, Mrs. J. H. Colyar, Mrs. Bessie Atkinson, Mrs. Will McNab, Mrs. Paul Ackerman, Mrs. Ed Lindelof, Mrs. W. E. Scott and Mrs. Jerry Duvall. Mrs. Scarder, Mrs. Pickers and Mrs. Cravenough of Salt Lake visited Mrs. T. H. Parsons last week. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Blackfer of Salt Lake were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Marriott Friday of last week. Mrs. W. E. Steffens and daughter and Mrs. James Nerdin motored to Salt Lake Friday of last week. The ladies were Mrs. C. T. Van Winkle, Miss Edna Jennings, Miss Dorothy Clay, Mrs. Kieth, Mrs. Young and Mrs C. P. Overfield. Mrs. A. C. Cole spent last week-en- d in Salt Lake. Mrs. J. B. Myers, president of the Civic club, left Monday for Ogden to attend the state federation. Mrs. Lee Jones is spending the week-en- in Salt Lake. Mrs, John Myers has gone to Og-den to attend the twenty-sevent- h an-nual meeting of the sisters of the Federated Women's clubs. School in Bingham was dismissed to celebrate Columbus day.. Dr. Russell Frazier has deserted his practice for a week's chase of the elusive deer. A party for the new deaconess, Miss Bryant, was given by the Methodist church one night dur-ing the past week. Miss Alice Mano has been con-fined with sickness for a week. Miss Evelyn Mano visited here over the week-en- d and returned to her studies at the university. Miss Caroline Rasmussen spent Fri-day at the fair in Salt Lake last week. Mrs. Will Ford entertained a few friends Wednesday evening of last week, fortune telling and the ouija board furnishing the entertainment. Lunch was served to the following guests: Mrs. J. J.' Doyle, Mrs. Rob-ert Burke, Mrs. T, H. Parsons, Mrs. James Bogan, Mrs. H, P. O'Gorman and Mrs. Kate Ford. Mr. and Mrs. Josh Carpenter and sons and Mr. and Mrs. Will Car-penter were in Salt Lake Wednesday and Friday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Kent were Salt Lake visitors Monday. A reception was given in the Methodist church parlors Monday evening for Miss Bryant, a deaconess who has come to work in Bingham Games and music were enjoyed and lunch was served.
