Brian Head youths score well in National Galande Contest . At the 10th National Gelande Jumping Championship held at Alta recently three Brian Head boys gave an excellent showing. In the class 1 1 to 13, eleven year old Chris Thompson placed 14th in very stiff competition. Georgie Hartlmaier, 10 years of age came in fifth in the class 10 and under and his little brother, Robie Hartlmaier, captured third place in the same class. This was the first experience for the boys against competition on a national level. They were nervous about the significance and size of the jump. The high finish in virtually international competition speaks well lor the training received and certainly is helpful in further establishing Brian Head Ski Resort as one of the major ski resorts of the Intermountain area. Competition was judged by professionals from the various ski areas. f'25N"""5 v J . M . - ' t ! . ; I, S SCORES WITH STYLE.
