Show Annabelle Lister Church worker dies; honored at funeral service Funeral services for Anna Belle Parkinson Lister were held Tuesday, Dec. 28 at the Paragonah Ward Chapel. She died at the Valley View Medical Center on Fri., Dec. 24. Burial was in the Paragonah Cemetery under the direction of the Southern Utah Mortuary. Mrs. Lister, 56, was born March 10, 1920 in Beaver to George Arnold and Aretta Gunn Joseph Parkinson. She married John R. Lister, Sept. 13, 1940 in Pa rowan. She was an active member of the LDS Church and was serving as Secretary in the Primary at the time of her death. Services were conducted by Bishop Ken Topham. Family , prayer was offered by Howard Joseph. The invocation was by Albin Judd, the benediction by Frank Dunton and the dedicatory prayer was offered by Antone Robinson. Eulogy was given by Neil Carter and the speaker was Clark Lamoreaux. Two musical selections by the Ward Choir, included "Sometime We'll Understand," and "My Father knows," accompanied by Melva Barton; a vocal solo, "Our Wonderful Mother," by Vyonne Robinson, accompanied by Melva Barton; and a vocal solo "I'll Never Walk Alone," by Don Flora. Prelude and postlude music was also by Melva Barton. Survivors include her husband, Paragonah, six sons: John and Allan, both of Washington, Utah; Larry Arthur, Irvine Calif.; Kenneth Arnold, Price; Roger Kay, Paragonah and Ralph Andres, Paragonah, who is presently serving an LDS Mission to Scotland. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, grand-children, a brother, Arnold Foch Parkinson, Beaver; and six sisters: Mrs. Lidill (Josephine) McBride, Ogden; Mrs. Lewis (Myrl) Lessing, Beaver; Mrs. Hugh (Itha) Robinson, Cedar City; Mrs. Roma Funk, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Donna Boyce, California; and Mrs. Harold (Joan) Hickman, Provo. |
