Show Extended Day Classes atSUSC "Methods of Teaching Environmental En-vironmental Education," a field investigation of the winter environment, en-vironment, and "Energy and Man's Environment," a workshop designed to acquaint educators with materials and concepts of energy education, are but two of the many courses being offered winter quarter through the Southern Utah State College extended day program. "We are offering a very wide array of classes and special workshops, from automotives to youth swimming in addition to the special environment-oriented programs. We have something to interest everyone," McRay Cloward, dean of the School of Continuing Education, said. Registration for the extended day program will be held January 6, from 4-7 p.m., in the SUSC Registrar's Office, Administration Ad-ministration Building. Extended day and continuing education classes being January 10. "Services of the Counseling and Testing Department will be available to any student who may wish to use them," Cloward said. "As part of a continuing effort to extend our programs to people who can't attend regular day classes, several interest and ability tests will be offered during the evening or on weekends." Many of the classes are available to the student for college credit or on a non-credit basis depending on individual preference, he said. "We urge everyone to pick up a continuing education and extended ex-tended day school schedule and to browse through the many offerings listed there," Cloward said. Schedules are available at the Registrar's Office or at Dr. Cloward's office in room 203, Old Administration Building. |
