Show Marriott reception set ! t i ) . ; Marriott Indicated his main reason for coming to southern Utah is to meet and get to know the residents of the Iron County area, Marriott said he views the next few years as some of the most important in the history of the southern Utah area. Major concerns, he said, are those related to industrial and energy development, tourism and agriculture. A Salt Lake City businessman, Marriott entered the political race with little knowledge of the events which presently show him in the lead over Allan Howe. Marriott is currently president and owner of Marriott Associates, a Salt Lake City-based City-based insurance and pension consulting firm. He has established an impressive record in business, having achieved financial success in just a few short years. Tickets for the dinner are $7.50 per person and may be purchased pur-chased from Lee Fife, Marlowe Imlay or Frank Nichols. Following the dinner, a casual reception will be held to allow voters time to get acquainted with Marriott and his views, Lee Fife said. The reception time is open to anyone who desires to meet the Republican candidate, whether attending the dinner or not, Fife added.
