Show Redmen grapplers place Third in Meet T r1 : Skyline High School walked off with team honors, but the Cedar High School Redmen captured four individual honors in the eight-team Cedar High School Wrestling Invitational staged Friday and Saturday. The Eagles of Skyline High showed good team depth as they took the team lead in the early rounds of the two-day tournament tour-nament event and went on to capture the team championship with 141V2 points. In second place were the Spanish Fork Dons with 127 points and the host Redmen finished in third place with 110 points. Both of the northern clubs, Skyline and Spanish Fork came into the tournament with team balance scoring points in virtually vir-tually every weight division. However, the Cedar High School Redmen dominated the individual honors with four weight championships. Skyline picked up three individual championships, Juab had a pair and Hurricane, North Sevier and Spanish Fork each had one. Finishing in fourth place in the eight team event was North WINS TOURNEY HONORS. In third place was Frank Pratter of Hurricane. 185 pounds-Ken Wadsworth of Skyline won a decisive 12-2 victory over Ron Hanson of Spanish Fork for the title. In third place was Brett Shaw of North Sevier. Heavyweight-The only second round pin of the match was scored by Steve Newton of Juab over Doug Snell of Spanish Fork. The pin came with five seconds remaining in the second period. It was the earliest pin of the championship round. Third place honors went to Andrews of Skyline. This week Coach Jack Bishop and his Redmen grapplers will travel to Las Vegas Nev. where they will pareticipate in the Chapparal Invitational meet. On Thursday, Dec. 16 the Redmen will be at St. George to take on the Dixie Flyers in the first of two meetings with the Flyers to determine the Region XI championships. Kendall Parry, Kim Christensen, DUin Reddington and Allen Moss a.11 won individual in-dividual titles for the Redmen and Kary Laird picked up a thrid place finish for Coach Jack Bishop. Following are the individual results of the tournament: 98 pounds - Greg Robbins, Skyline third round pin over Mark Eager of American Fork for first and second. Jeff Kenaswood of Page was third. 105 pounds-Kendall Parry of the Cedar High School Redmen scored a 7-0 victory over Brian Reid of Hurricane for the championship. In third place was Cardwell of Skyline. 112 pounds-Kim Christensen of the Redmen pinned Chris Leimback of Page, Ariz, with six seconds remaining in the third and final round. Third place went to Reimschissel of American Fork. 119 pounds-Joel Bradford of Spanish Fork won first place by forefeit over Blair Squires of Skyline. Third place went to Boyer of American Fork. 126 pounds-Dallin Reddington defeated Gary Krebbs of Page 6-4 6-4 in a see-saw match for the championship. Stan Shelly of American Fork was third. 132 pounds- Steve Camp of North Sevier pinned Bruce Warren of Spanish Fork at 2 :20 of the third round for the championship. cham-pionship. Wendal Robertson of Spanish Fork was third. 145 pounds-Tom Beatty of Hurricane scored an impressive 10-2 victory over Nate Olpin of Skyline for the championship. In third place was Roger Sperry of Juab. 155 pounds-Brent Fog of Skyline took the championship with a third round pin over Richard Cope of Spanish Fork. In third place was Mitch Englestead of Hurricane. 167 pounds-Allen Moss of the Redmen defeated Newell Hales of North Sevier with a pin with 1 : 15 remaining in the third and final round.
