Show ' ' ' x Hi,;4 J.LYNN ESPLIN Lynn Esplin to fill LDS Mission J. Lynn Esplin has accepted ac-cepted the call to serve as a missionary for the LDS Church in the Helsinke Finland Mission. He will enter the Language Training Mission in Provo on June 22. A farewell testimonial will be held June 11, at 5:30 p.m. in conjunction with Bnoch 3rd Ward Sacrament Meeting. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. at-tend. He is the son of Lynn J. and Juanita C. Esplin of Cedar City. Esplin is a 1977 graduate of Cedar High School and of the four year Seminary program. While attending Cedar High he was active in A Cappella and Madrigals singing group, participated in cross country, wrestling and track. He was named debator of the year in Forensics his senior year. He has earned his "Duty to God" award and served as Deacons and Teachers Quorum president and Priest assistant to the Bishop. He has completed one year at SUSC where he was involved in-volved in the LDS Institute program. He was a member of the Ensign Singers and the New Era Choral group. |
