Show Golden Anniversary for Ash crofts The family of Mr. and Mrs. Theron M. Ashjcroll invite all of their friends to join them at an open bouse lo commemorate their golden wedding anniversary Saturday. August 11. I97'.i, Irom 7 to 9 p.m. in the Helicf Society Hoom of the L'nd-ath Ward Chapel. Theron Milton Ashcrofl and Inez l.uerclia Parsons were married May 29. 1929. in the Sail Lake Temple. The first ten years of (heir married life were spent in Hyde Park, Cache County, Utah. In I9.'!9 they moved to Cedar City where Theron served ball' day as Cedar City Engineer and half day as a a faculty member at HAC. As both the city and the college grew, he chose lo remain at the college where be taught engineering and math. Both Theron and l.uerclia have lie-on active in their church and in the community. com-munity. In 1907 Theron was called lo serve as President of the Irish Mission and upon his return served as a counselor in the SI. George Temple Presidency. They are Ihe parents of seven children: Mrs. Marl (Anne) Judd. Mrs. Hal (Marie) Hansen, Mrs. Hichard (Kay) Hoss, Mrs. Handy (Judy) Peterson, and Mrs. Kenneth (Susan) Knee. A son.
