Show Woman faces Assault Charges ton's raised forearm. Mrs. Benton apparently attempted to leave and Mrs. Christensen reportedly struck her in the back with the shovel. Mrs. Benton then took the shovel from Mrs. Christensen and stood on it. According to the police report, Mrs. Christensen grabbed Mrs. Benton by the hair and scratched the right side of Mrs. Benton's throat. Police arrived shortly after and Mrs. Christensen was taken to the Iron County Jail and eventually released on her own recognisance. A dispute over a dog ended in a Cedar City woman being arrested for aggravated assault early Thursday morning. Investigating officer Dave Holm reported -that Joann Christensen, 3ft approached her neighbor's trailer at the Country Aire Estates at about 6:40 a.m. accusing the occupants of the trailer, Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Benton, of allowing their dog to run in her yard. According to Officer Holm, Robin Lyn Benton left her residence to try to calm Mrs. Christensen. Mrs. Christensen was carrying a shovel and allegedly swung it at Mrs. Benton.
