Show Police Arrest Marijuana Grower An SUSC student was arrested in his dormitory apartment yesterday by Cedar City police officers for cultivation of marijuana. Twenty-year old Louis Albert Febre of North Hollywood, Calif, was arrested after a citizen's tip led officers to obtain a search warrant for the apartment. According to arresting officers Craig Holyoak, Steve Warby and Roy Houchen, the warrant was issued after three suspected marijuana plants were observed by police growing in the apartment window. Officers also found a small quantity of harvested marijuana, . according to officer Holyoak, and other items used for cultivation. Febre was taken to the Iron County Jail and later released on $1,000 bond after his arraignment before Circuit Court Judge Christian Ronnow. Holyoak also stated that 25 young marijuana plants were found growing outside the dormitory near the front door. |
