Show Students vying for offices in high school voting An election to name student body officers to preside over the Parowan High School during dur-ing the 1969-70 school year, is being held this week, with two tickets being named at a run-off election held last week end. I As is the usual procedure, two tickets were named by the run-off primary, names Gold and Blue after the school colors. Vying for the three offices of-fices to be filled on the Gold Ticket are Leslie Topham, for president; Doug Robinson for vice president, and Christine Knight for secretary. Candidates Candi-dates on the Blue Party are Kevin Robinson for president, Jolone Stubbs for vice president, presi-dent, and Peggy Lamoreaux fcr secretary. Leslie is a son of Mr. and Mrs, Alma Topham, Doug is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Robinson, Rob-inson, Christine a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard D. Knight, Kevin a son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Robinson, Jolene Jo-lene a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stubbs, and Peggy Peg-gy a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lamoreaux. An intensive . pre-election campaign is taking place this week prior to the election, with campaign managers for the parties being as follows: Gail Bentley will act as chairman chair-man of the Blue party and Marsha Stubbs chairman of the gold party. They have given their party names as the "Pace Setters" and "Gold Nuggets". Many activities are planned Tor this important week which will include a water fight, a marshmallow roast and a dance to culminate culmin-ate the campaign. The party chairmen are anxious an-xious to involve all students in the campaign and so have worked up competitive games, rallies, songs and meetings.
