SUSC students stage two-man art exhibit A two-man art exhibit by Southern Utah State College art majors is currently on display dis-play in the SUSC Student Center Lounge, it was announced an-nounced by Prof. Thomas A. Leek, art curator at the college. col-lege. The exhibit will continue contin-ue through Sunday, Nov. 23. Featuring works of Cleve Yates and Greg Ingram, both from Nephi, the show is com-' com-' prised of 22 paintings in wat-ercolor, wat-ercolor, oil, serigraiph, and pastel media. Also on view are selected woodcut prints. Subject matter encompasses landscapes, portraits, still life, and abstract paintings. Mr. Yates is a junior at SUSC. He plans to work in advertising ad-vertising and display after completing college. He js married mar-ried to the former Ann Carter of Nephi. Mr. Ingram is also a junior student. Plans for his future include work in commercial art. His wife is the former Maxine Andreasen of Nephi. They are parents of a son, Rhet, 1. Both students are members of the SUSC Art Guild. |
