Show State reports mostly "fair" fishing in streams and lakes of southwestern Utah Panguitch Creek: Fair for rainbow and German brown, pressure very heavy. Sevier River and Asay Crook: Fair for rainbow, fair pressure. Yankee Meadow Reservoir: Slow for rainbow and brook. Pine Lake: Good for rainbow rain-bow 12 to 16 inches, pressure good. Newcastle Reservoir: Fair for rainbow, angling picking up from shoreline. Navajo Lake: Fair for rainbow rain-bow and brook, angling best west of dick; trolling good with flatfish and small lures. Forsyth Reservoir: Fair for rainbow, brook and cutthroat; water still too high. The State Fish and Game Department has issued the following fol-lowing report on fishing conditions con-ditions in streams and lakes of the Southwest Utah area as follows: Minersville Reservoir: Very slow for rainbow, very heavy pressure (Earlier this water was reported as among the very best in the state). LaBaron Lake: Fair for cutthroat cut-throat and brook with brook 14 to 15 inches. Puffer's Lake: Fair for rainbow, rain-bow, good pressure. Three Creek Reservoir: Fair for rainbow trout, lake is full. Panguitch Lake: Excellent for rainbow, very heavy pros-sre, pros-sre, 10-16 inch rainbows. |
