Show SUMMIT NEWS Mrs. Donna Davenport The Primary presented a very enjoyable Christmas eve program with all the children taking part. Santa Claus came at the close bringing candy and nuts to all. The Primary officers and teachers and their partners held their annual holiday party on Saturday evening where a turkey dinner with all the trimmings was enjoyed. en-joyed. Special guests were members of the Primary Stake Presidency and husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Mitchell and Mr. and Mr.s. James Benson. After a stay of nearly two months in a Salt Lake City hospital Ilyrum Ilurnpherys was well 'enough to return home on Christmas clay. Mrs. Humpherys traveled to the City to bring him her,9 and were greeted by their entire family. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Larkin and baby daughter of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Humph.ory.s of Parowan, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Humpherys and little daughter of Cedar City, and from here, Mr. and Mrs. Denny Woodard, Billye Ann and Patti Gai, Lori and Mark. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Dalley just received word of t'he military mili-tary wedding of their granddaughter, grand-daughter, Patricia Dalley and SSgt. John Humpherys, Jr. both of Fremont, Calif. Patricia Patric-ia is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Dalley former Summit residents. The newly-weds, newly-weds, who were married December De-cember 26, are making their home in Oakland while Mr. Humpherys is stationed there. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Glaser loft here Tuesday of last week for Spalding, Nebraska to spend the holidays with Mr. Glasers family. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Richards were in Greenville to spend Christmas with their daughter daugh-ter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ricke Edwards and Erick. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley enjoyed having most of th.sir family home for the Christmas week end. Here from Salt Lake City were, Mr. and Mrs. David Dalley, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Astin and Kathy Dalley. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Munson came from Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whicker, Keven, Curtis and Gary traveled trav-eled to Fillmore Christmas day to visit with their folks, the Henry Whickers until Saturday. Miss RoLayne Walker of Salt Lake City arrived here Christmas eve for a five days stay with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Walker, . Lucile Sparks of California here for the Christmas week end. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Divers enjoyed en-joyed having all of their family fam-ily here for the Christmas holiday. hol-iday. Sons, Jerry and Richard came from Ogden and daughter, daugh-ter, Kathy and little boy were here from Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Divers took Kathy and Glen back to California and will visit there for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hartshorn Harts-horn and children Paul, Barry, Lisa and Jane of Mesa, Ariz. ar.e here for a few days stay. Mr. and Mrs. William Wilson Wil-son and three sons of Laramie, Lara-mie, Wyoming arrived here Saturday after spending Christmas in California and were overnight guests of Mrs. Wilson's aunts, Mrs. Helen Matheson and ' Mrs. Virgie Mickelson. Bishop and Mrs. Delos Dal-ton Dal-ton and family traveled to Salt Lake City last week to visit with Mrs. Dalton's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Hyatt. Hy-att. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rowley Row-ley and family were in Salt Lake City Saturday and Sunday Sun-day also to visit with Mrs. Rowley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Hyatt. Mr. and Mrs. Don Jamison and two sons of Downey, Calif, arrived here early Christmas morning to stay until Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Board- man and tamUy spent the weekend in Delta. Mrs. Hulda Peterson spent the Christmas holiday in Las Vegas with her daughters and families, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Williamson and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Eddy. |
