Show Funeral services held for Olive N. B. Edwards Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Paragonah LDS Ward Chapel Wednesday afternoon af-ternoon for Mrs. Olive Nichols Barton Edwards, 88, who died Dec. 28 of natural causes at the hospital in Cedar City. Mrs. Edwards was born in Paragonah on June 23, 1881, a daughter of Stephen Smith and Eliza Hoy Smith Barton. She married Thomas Alexander Alexand-er Edwards March 3, 1901 at Paragonah. Mrs. Edwards was Paragonah's oldest resident, and had been an active mem-ber mem-ber of the LDS church and the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Survivors include three sons and three daughters, Reed, Beaver; Williams B., Paragonah; Paragon-ah; Ralph, Cedar City; Mrs. John (Venice) Foster, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Alma Stowe, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. L. D. (Beth) Harris, San Bernardino, Calif. 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Stella Edwards, Paragonah; Para-gonah; Sarah Eliza Rose, Parowan; Par-owan; Nora Forgie, Pedro, California. Cal-ifornia. Burial was in the Paragonah Para-gonah Cemetery. |
