Show NOTICE AND INSTRUCTION . TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received receiv-ed toy the Escalante Valley Housing Authority hereinafter referred to as the "Owner", for performing the work as set forth in the Plans and Specifications Speci-fications attached hereto, on or before 3:00 p. m. o'clock Sept. 14, 1971, in the Beryl Center, at which time ' said bids will be publicly opened and read. Plans may be obtained from the Architect, John S. Rowley, 81 North Main Street, Cedar City, Utah on payment and deposit of $75.00. . Each bid must ,be accompanied accom-panied by a certified check or bidder's bond payable to the Owner for five per cent of the total amount of the bid. A performance and payment bond In the amount of 100 percent of the contract price with a corporate surety approved ap-proved by the Owner and Architect, Ar-chitect, will be required for the faithful performance of contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid. It Is understood that the work to be done is being financed with a loan or grant or both from the Farmers Home Administration, Adminis-tration, U. S. Department of Agriculture. Contractors' proposals pro-posals shall hold firm for sixty six-ty days to allow the Owner to complete its financing arrangements. ar-rangements.
